Additional context: The Eastern Texas courts are a target for "forum shopping", where people with certain issues (e.g. patent trolls) file cases there specifically to reach a sympathetic judge.

Parents are a nightmare and the Eastern District court of Texas is troll heaven. I am glad to see EFF return to its original mission.
